Some closings just hit you right in the feels. We had the honor of helping sell this beautiful cabin near Carter Lake for a client who came to own it after his friend passed away. Selling this cabin was the final page of this chapter closing and it was emotional but beautiful. The buyer and seller were able to meet at the closing table and the transition was perfect with our client saying "____(who was the friend who passed) would have liked him" when referring to the new buyer. 🥹

This one makes my heart happy!

As we all know, real estate transactions tend to follow life events. Sometimes those events are good (new job, marriage, kids, etc.), sometimes they are sad (divorce, job loss, etc.), and sometimes they are just part of the next phase of life. This one was one of those: the next-phase ones. After 14 years, my client decided it was time for a change and decided to part with this condo. It felt very big to her, but she trusted me to help her navigate this process and do it as smoothly as possible. We had an amazing transaction and everyone left the closing table with happy tears.
