Real estate is more than a series of transactions. It is walking side by side with someone while they move through the steps and emotions of owning their own little piece of the world.

Did you know that in Colorado, transplants now outnumber natives? Well allow me to introduce myself, I am Kris, a true Colorado native—born and raised in Colorado Springs, proud graduate of the University of Colorado and adventurer of all the wonderful things this state has to offer. After college, life brought about the opportunity to travel which resulted in four different moves, between three states, in three years. (During this time, I also got married and had my first kid because, why not do all the stressful things at once, right?).
It was this repeated moving process that led to my appreciation and interest in the world of real estate. I was fortunate to work with agents throughout the country who helped me through many of the stressful situations I now coach my clients through. As someone with a sales background, working with all walks of people was something that came naturally for me, but the opportunity to walk the path with my clients while they go through the very emotional and, at times, stressful process of buying or selling a home was something that truly excited me. The thought that, if I did it right, I would be able to be the lighthouse in the storm, the way my former agents were for me, meant so much and is my purpose in each transaction I do with my clients.
I bring a passion for working with people to uncover their vision and make it a reality. In the real estate world, this may mean finding the perfect house, neighborhood or simply a trustworthy agent who has your best interest in mind. Bringing my background in hospitality to the forefront of my real estate business, I take a consultative approach to working with my clients and provide a service-based experience with clear communication, responsiveness and insight rooted in data and market knowledge. Clients seek me out because I am thorough, reliable, and a true advocate for my clients.
Whether you are looking to sell your home or find one in which to start discovering Colorado on your own, I would love to work with you to make your goals a reality.

Kris is everything you want in a realtor. She took time to understand our needs, was patient with us when we needed education, and battled for us, when we needed help. She was the absolute best, and I cannot recommend her enough!

As the wife of a veteran, I know that this day is more than just the "unofficial start of summer”. Be open, and understand that this weekend is tough for many people. Enjoy time with your family, but please, take a moment to think about the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice.
I wanted to share this list, created by veterans, of suggestions when "celebrating" Memorial Day
1. Invite your veteran to participate in your planned activities.
2. Allow him or her to decline the invitation without pressure to change their mind.
3. If your veteran accepts an invitation, accept that he or she may cancel at the last minute, may leave early, or may need to take a walk. ~ THIS IS NOT A REFLECTION ON YOU~Carry on without them, when they are ready to join you, they will.
5. Putting pressure to "cheer up", "stop mopping around", or "quit being such a downer" may result in a temporary change of behavior that makes YOU feel more comfortable, but will likely make the veteran feel more despondent.
6. Acknowledge that you may not be able to completely understand what he or she is experiencing today, but that you are there for them if they need you.
7. Have kids? Cookout, have a water balloon fight, play in the sprinklers, whatever… it is ok if daddy or mommy doesn’t participate today.
8. Consider setting a "Missing Man" table setting at your main meal of the day. Your veteran will feel that the day has been properly acknowledged, and it will give him or her a chance to engage with the rest of the family as they explain the symbolism and meaning of the empty place at the table. warmemorialcenter.org/missing-man-table/
9. IF you’re planning to light fireworks, let them know BEFORE you do it! Even small, quiet fireworks SMELL like ordinance, and that can be a powerful trigger.
10. Relax, and remember, their behavior is NOT ABOUT YOU! IT is about missing people they love. And a few days a year, it is ok to just let them grieve. Tomorrow is a new day. … See MoreSee Less
